4-Day Apogee Coach (Mon–Thu)
Full-TimeWe're looking for a full-time Apogee Coach to join our team four days a week. You'll guide students ages 5–12 through project-based learning, lead group discussions, run daily fitness sessions, and help kids develop the critical thinking, communication, and adaptability skills they'll carry for life.
This isn't a traditional teaching role. There are no lesson plans handed down from a district office. You'll facilitate learning — asking great questions, creating hands-on experiences, and meeting each student where they are. If you've been looking for a way to actually make an impact in education without the bureaucracy, this is it.
- Facilitate group discussions and guide students through self-directed projects that build real-world skills
- Create a student-centered environment focused on personal growth, mastery, and character development
- Lead daily physical fitness sessions (activities vary throughout the year)
- Track student progress using our competency-based mastery system — no standardized testing
- Partner with parents to align on goals and keep learning going at home
- Mentor students in goal-setting, entrepreneurial thinking, and financial literacy fundamentals
- Collaborate with the founding team to refine curriculum, daily structure, and school culture
- You have experience in education, coaching, or mentorship — and you're ready to do it differently
- You're energized by the idea of small-group, relationship-driven learning over lecture-and-test models
- You prioritize your own health and well-being — physically, mentally, emotionally — and model that for students
- You're entrepreneurial: you've built something, started something, or thrive in environments where you have ownership over your work
- You care deeply about preparing kids for real life, not just the next grade level
